Summer Camp Rates and Registration

We currently have online registration, but will be taking payments at the visitor services desk via phone, or in person. You will be given 7 days to contact us with payment information and confirming the camper's enrollment, allowing you to secure the spot in camp at a convenient time inside or outside of our business hours. There will be no more need to wait in a long lineup!

  • Each program will accept 20 children maximum
  • Because space is limited, registration is required
  • Registration forms must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian

Registration will open to the public at 10am on May 1, 2016.  Friends of the Garden members early access is now closed, but can still register on May 1 at a discounted rate.  Members must be registered as a Supportive Family to receive the benefits of discounted registration. 

As there is a lot of interest in our camps, and we want everyone who wants to to be able to participate.  So for 2016, each child can be registered for a MAXIMUM of 3 of our summer camps.  Typically, children are registered for 1 or 2 weeks.

If a submission form is not taking any more submissions it is because a camp is full.  When a camp is full we will open a WAITLIST. Very few spaces open up, if at all, as we only issue refunds with a doctor's note, but we will go to the waitlist first to fill any open spots.

Once registering with the above links, you will be given 7 days to contact us with payment information to confirm the camper's enrollment.  ***Enrollment is NOT confirmed unless payment has been received.***

Canada Day activities at camp

The following methods of payment can be accepted:

By Phone:
Please call the Visitor Services Desk during our open hours at (709) 864-8590, and provide a Visa or MasterCard number.

In Person:
Please visit the Visitor Services Desk during our open hours.  We can accept: Cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard, Cheque or money order (Please make payable to MUN Botanical Garden).

Early Registration for FOG members:
To submit your payment and complete your registration please call (709) 864-8590 or drop by the visitor services desk between the hours of 9am-12:30pm and 1:30pm -3:30pm Monday to Friday, during April.  Once public registration is open May 1, please contact us via the public By Phone or In Person methods above.

Please note:  Refunds will not be issued without a medical note and a $20 administrative fee will apply.

Further Information

Campers exploring the Garden
A confirmation package, including what to bring, what to wear, and further forms on the camper's medical and emergency contact information will be forwarded to all camp participants in June.

 

Tax receipts will be emailed to the registering parent/guardian, once the camp has been completed.
