The Conference Room
The MUN Botanical Garden conference room is a unique, scenic environment, ideal for holding business meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences. The facility is not suitable for private parties, including wedding receptions and other social gatherings.
The room measures 29’ X 19’ and has two large windows, creating a bright, airy atmosphere.
Throughout the Garden’s open season (May 1 – November 30), art shows are often on exhibit in the conference room.
The conference room is available for bookings 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., May 1 - November 30. and on weekdays, 8:30 - a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during the winter months (December - April).

The conference room is located at 306 Mount Scio Road, within the field centre, the Garden’s main building. - Parking:
Limited free parking is available in the Garden’s parking lot and in the overflow parking lot located across the street. - Capacity:
36 people sitting - theatre or dining room style
20 people sitting - board room style
70 people standing - Fees:
Morning (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) - $50 (+HST) = $56.50
Afternoon (1 p.m. - 5 p.m.) - $50 (+HST) = $56.50 - Equipment:
The following equipment may be reserved when booking the conference room:
- Screen (6’X7’)
- Overhead projector
- Slide projector
- TV/ VCR
- Whiteboard
- Tables and chairs arranged to your specifications

Catering is available. Please contact Jane Cooper for more information.
Cancellation Policy:
A forty-eight hour cancellation notice is required to avoid payment of a $50 booking fee.
