Field Course Information

Join us as we take a up close and personal look at the Boreal Forest - from its earliest formation after the glaciers to its majestic wildlife! This is a course that will be held in Terra Nova NP and surrounding area and will examine what makes our provincial forest ecosystem tick - from stream ecology to what happens to forests after fire. The course activities are all field based - you'll get to know all aspects of the Boreal Biome through labs and individual/group project of your choice.

This is a WINTER semester course, but is held right after exams end at the end of April and counts as a WINTER course! So if you can take this course and still graduate in the spring! Enrolment is limited to 15.
