INTRODUCTION Newfoundland is an exiting place to be. It has natural beauty and offers a wealth of cultural attractions. You can have fun any time of year – and not just on George Street. You can go swimming in a pond, hike on one of the many trails, ski, snowshoe, or take part in one of the many cultural events the province and St. John’s offer all year round. However, many international students who come to Memorial University do not always know what activities are available to them in Newfoundland or where to find relevant information. In this WebQuest, you will research one of Newfoundland seasons. You will then use this information to create a brochure about this season, where you will describe what that season has to offer and what one can do in that time of year.
