To insert an image into a webpage:

To borrow an image from a webpage:
    Point to the image with the cursor, then
    Right click / Save image as ... / filename.gif
By default, the image will be saved with the same name as in the source HTM file

To insert an image into a webpage:
    Move the cursor to the point where you want to insert the image
    From the toolbar, click on Insert / Image / Choose File
        or, type the name of the file directly into the space provided

Copy the above image to a file, then insert it between the next two lines

Images can also be copied from disks, or created with drawing programs. PaintShopPro by Corel Software is available as a free demo download and can be used to create good graphics.

Images can be resized: right-click on the image, and choose 'image properties'. Re-sizing to a maximum of 600 x 400 pixels

NOTE on Image Formats: The image above is in GIF format (with the extension *.gif ). GIF files are smaller and convenient for B&W drawings and tables, as they are limited to 256 colours & compress white spaces. For more detailed images, you use JPG images (extension *.jpg); most images on the internet are in JPG format. Avoid TIF and BitMap images, which are extremely large.
