Homework: The above
sketch of the Watson-Crick model
of DNA was
included in a 1953 letter from James Watson to his teacher,
Max Delbrück.
1. Print a
copy of the sketch. Using it as a model, draw a pair of accurate models of the T / A and C / G pairs:
label carbon & nitrogen
atoms, identify single-
and double-bonds, etc.
2. Watson's
sketch contains at
least one fundamental error: identify and correct
it.
