Expected
behavior of neutral alleles in multiple populations
(A) Fifty replicates with N = 100 @,
proceeding from an initial fA =
0.01. Panel (B) shows the lower left corner of
the (A) panel. A majority of replicates go to loss
before 10 generations, only two persist beyond 60
generations, and only one goes to fixation.
This is consistent with the expectation that for any
population with fA(0)
= q, the expectation of fixation is also q.
