Single-Stranded Binding Proteins (SSBPs) in DNA synthesis

Double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) is extremely stable: single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) is extremely unstable. Single-Stranded Binding Proteins (SSBPs) protect ssDNA while it is being replicated.
