Eohippus & "Eohomo"
On being the remains of Eohippus [now Hyracotherium], one of the oldest
fossil horses, the English evolutonary biologist Thomas Huxley declared
"Eohippus must have an Eohomo."
Unfortunately, early horses and early humans missed each other by a
least 50 million years.
