Registration Cancellation: As of July 11th, there will be NO refunds of registration fees. All funds have already been used to cover costs incurred by the Congress based on registration numbers.
Delegates are encouraged to join the American Fisheries Society (AFS) prior to, or after the Congress. Information on how to join the AFS, and on the large number of benefits of being an AFS member, can be found at: http://www.fisheries.org/html/Membership.shtml.
Note: a fee structure has just been introduced for "developing countries" (including Brazil), where membership in the AFS can be as low as $5 US ($10 US with AFS-Physiology Section Membership).
Registered regular participants and students/post-docs/emeritus are entitled to attend the welcome reception, all scientific sessions, the poster session, and coffee breaks. Further they will be provided with a Congress program/book of abstracts, a name-tag and a conference bag containing various items.
Accompanying persons are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception, and to participate in Congress sponsored excursions and other social events. They will also be provided with a name-tag. Note: if individuals will only be going to the banquet (cost $60.00), there is no need to register as an accompanying person, simply have the person registering purchase the number of tickets needed.
The Congress Banquet is not included in the above fees, and is estimated at $60 (CDN) for regular participants/accompanying persons and $40 for students/post-docs/emeritus.
