LOTEK WIRELESS ST. JOHN’S PLANT TOUR
Come and see innovative ways to monitor animal movement and behaviour

Lotek Wireless Inc. is pleased to offer a tour
of its St. John’s
facility in support of the Seventh International Congress on the Biology
of Fish. As a leading
manufacturer of monitoring systems for use in fish and wildlife research,
Lotek has been assisting biologists in answering questions related to
movement of animals in their natural environment for over two decades. Our
radio, acoustic, archival and satellite tracking solutions allow
researchers to follow animals of almost any size through almost any
environment.
A list of guests with interest in our mission have been identified
and invited to participate in the tour. If you are interested in
participating in our tour, please send an indication of your interests to
Lotek via the following email address: planttour@lotek.com. As there is
limited capacity available, only conference registrants with invitations will
be able to participate – our apologies in advance to anyone who we
cannot accommodate.
The tour will be held on Thursday,
July 20th starting at 4:30PM and concluding at 7:00PM. Transportation
will be provided and a bus will cycle between Lotek’s
plant and the Fairmont Hotel starting with a pickup at the hotel at
4:30PM.
Guests will be guided through a tour of the plant facility, where
various products will be demonstrated and/or on display. Food and
refreshments will be provided and guests will be able to relax and
socialize during the times when not being guided through the plant.
Guests will be able to return to the Fairmont Hotel at anytime, subject
to the availability of the cycling bus; we will ensure that guests are
returned in time for the poster session.
