Hotels

The Congress will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown St. John's.

Rooms were reserved on behalf of Congress participants at the below hotels. However, we had to release the remainder of rooms held by the Congress on June 18. Congress rates (see below) may still be available at some hotels (if they have remaining inventory), but this is at the discretion of each hotel.

The Quality Inn and Marriott Courtyard Suites are located very close (2-3 min. walk) to the Fairmont Hotel (Congress Venue). The Delta Hotel is approx. a 15 min walk from the Fairmont Hotel, and located in the downtown area. Finally, the Super 8 Motel is located approx. 5 kms from Fairmont Hotel, and is thus only a short cab ride away.

To ensure that you book an appropriate number of accommodation nights, please consider the following information:

Registration begins at 2:00 pm and the opening reception begins at 7:00 pm, Tues. July 18.
Talks will be scheduled until 4:00 or 5:00 pm on Sat. July 22.
The banquet is scheduled for 7:00 pm on Sat. July 22.
Excursions are planned on the Tuesday before, and Sunday after the Congress…see Tours/Excursions page

The rates are for both single AND double rooms. The rates do not include applicable taxes of 18%.
