Ledum palustre subsp. decumbens (Aiton) Hultén. Growing tip with a dense cluster of leaves covered with brown deciduous hairs. Note adaxial surface of the leaves curled under leaving a stripe of brown hairs on the abaxial surface. Aiken, 2002.
