Callitrichaceae, water starwort family.
Notes. Similar to Callitriche anceps, but distinguished by its greenish-brown and usually obovate or spathulate leaves and by its ellipsoid frui which has a narrow wind in its upper part only. Silty bottom of shallow ponds. Greenland to Alaska; Eurasia.
