BGSA Executive
Positions
1. Chairperson – responsible for organizing time and agenda of executive meetings, chairing meetings, representing BGSA when called upon, administrative duties.
2. Treasurer / Fundraiser – alternate chairperson, responsible for financial needs of BGSA such as fundraising initiatives and maintaining BGSA financial accounts.
3. Professional Development Coordinator – responsible for organizing and inviting graduate students to professional / instructional / career workshops and promoting teaching opportunities among graduate students (ie: GTP & TOGA).
4. Social Event Coordinator – responsible for planning a minimum of one social event per semester.
5. Communications Officer – responsible for recording meeting minutes, creating content for website, maintaining email account and sending emails to notify graduate students about upcoming events.
6. Website Developer –. Responsible for designing, developing, and regularly updating the BGSA website and working with the executive to develop content (ie: info for 1st year students, graduate student questions & answers, scholarship and funding information, etc). Must have website development skills
