Writing Scientific Theses

In this presentation I will discuss the ins and outs of writing for scientists preparing their Honours, Masters and Doctoral dissertations. I will get into broad issues like the organization and structure of theses – including timing and the preparation of background research – and more narrow concerns like word choice and sentence structure for scientists. The session will be valuable to all students who are writing, or who would like to write, graduate dissertations in biochemistry and other laboratory-based sciences.
