Aboriginal Student Centre
Located on the second floor of the Education Building (Room ED - 2014), the Aboriginal Student Centre, Faculty of Education, is dedicated to the creation of an educational environment that is inclusive of all Aboriginal students regardless of origin.
The Centre is a space which affirms the dignity of Aboriginal cultures and values by providing students with supports consistent with the cultures and values of its respective peoples.
The Centre’s purpose is to increase, complement and enhance the accessibility and retention of Aboriginal students.
Aboriginal values, languages, and culture are an integral part of Newfoundland and Labrador society. The Aboriginal Student Centre, Faculty of Education provides a place for students to call their own within the university community. All are welcome to the Centre.

MUNSU Aboriginal Student Representative
The Aboriginal Representative is an elected position for Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Student Union. The Representative does not have to be a self-identified Aboriginal to be an Aboriginal student representative. The role of the position is to allow representation of Aboriginal students and related issues in student politics.
The Aboriginal Representative can assist students in a wide range of issues from academic questions or problems, to voicing their thoughts or opinions to the Student’s Union or, to become more involved with Aboriginal campaigns and programs at Memorial University.
