Sherra Robinson, BA'01, B.Ed.'04, M.Ed.'14

Robinson, SherraSherra has been an educator in our province since 2004 where she has worked in a variety of roles across the province including English/Theatre teacher, Department Head of English and Assistant Principal; most recently, she is serving as an Itinerant for Safe and Caring Schools with the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District. Sherra is an advocate for all students and their right to an equitable education. She takes great pleasure in watching her students succeed and has directed numerous plays, coached volleyball and served on numerous committees at the school and district level. Sherra has also served on numerous Regional and Provincial High School Theatre Festival Steering Committees. Furthermore, Sherra has served on numerous intermediate and high school English provincial marking and exam construction panels. Looking to the future, and striving to promote sustainable change in the area of education within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Sherra has been admitted into the University of Western Ontario’s Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Program starting in the fall of 2017.
