David Mitchell, B.Eng.'93, M.Eng.'02
David brings over 20 years of progressive management and construction experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Pennecon. He holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Memorial University and a Masters of Business Administration from Queen's University. He is currently enrolled in the Director Education Program through the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Previously, David served as General Manager at Northland Contracting, Regional Manager for ITT Water and Wastewater and Vice President of Headed Reinforcement Inc. David held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Pennecon before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2014. Outside of work, David is an avid sailor, a member of the Masonic Order and an active and engaged community volunteer. While David currently resides in St. John's, he maintains a close connection to his roots on the Burin Peninsula.
