The Memorial University Aikido Club is based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching of the traditional Japanese martial art known as Aikido. The club has existed for over 30 years and has a membership consisting of students, faculty and staff of Memorial University as well as other residents of St. John's and the surrounding communities. We welcome all who are interested in Aikido to come and train with us.

We are affiliated to the Aikikai Foundation through the Canadian Aikido Federation (CAF). As members of the CAF our practice is under the technical direction of Yukio Kawahara, Shihan (8th dan).
