A Guide to First Year

This Guide is designed as an aid for first-year students. Where admissions policies, regulations and course descriptions are concerned, the provisions of the university Calendar are the final authority. All new Memorial students receive a free university Calendar. Included in your orientation package will be a coupon to redeem for your free copy. The Guide represents the academic regulations in effect as of the February 2008 meeting of the University Senate. Changes to academic regulations approved after the February meeting will be represented in next year’s Guide.
