Ordering of Animals from the Vivarium or Other Outside Source.

1. Before ordering animals there must be an approved protocol.
2. No matter what method is used to purchase animals the department of Animal Care Services must be:
   1. informed of the ordering and with whom the order was placed;
   2. provided with the protcol reference number;
   3. provided with the species being purchased and number of animals being purchased
