Professional Development
The courses designed for the above program will be made available to professional communities and members of various professional societies. Engineers working in oil and gas industries, environmental sectors, occupational safety and health, and other related fields would benefit from these courses. Professional development hours will be awarded and a certificate of attendance will be issued.OGDP, through its advisory committee and with the endorsements of the PEG-NL, NOIA, NEIA, and other professional societies in oil and gas industries, will allow modular graduate courses to the participants and will also arrange seminars and short courses for this purpose. These programs are one means by which employees in oil and gas sectors may maintain and improve their competence.
Public lecture series have been introduced since 2003, which Memorial University has been sponsoring by inviting world renowned experts.
