Gregory J. Power Poetry Awards
The Gregory J. Power poetry awards were presented April 11, 2001, in the University Club. Kristine Power (here, reading her work) was named first place winner for her poem titled My Girlhood with the Virgin Mary. Kevin Hehir was second for his poem Canada Customs while the judges awarded Karl Hawkins third place for his poem Orca.
