Faculty Strike
Memorial University students understandably felt caught in the middle of the faculty strike in October and November 2000. On Nov. 7, students held a rally for the entire university community aimed at ending the strike. Here, Keith Dunne, president of the students' union, addressed the crowd. The faculty strike ended on Nov. 12 and classes resumed on Nov. 14.
